Elsie

Right now

even passing the time until 19:00

What Elsie is trying to do

Nothing in particular. Most days are like this.

The last couple of days

What Elsie makes of everyone

Familiarity counts their hours; affection weighs them. An hour together does not add to what somebody makes of you, it pulls it towards what an hour like that is worth — so seeing a lot of somebody settles the number rather than raising it.

• Alice barely know each other
• Bob barely know each other
• Dan barely know each other
• Carol barely know each other

And what they make of Elsie

Not the same thing, deliberately.

• Alice barely know each other
• Dan barely know each other
• Bob barely know each other
• Carol barely know each other

What Elsie thinks they know

Where they last saw each person. Nobody in Ashcombe can tell whether their own information is out of date — only you can.

• Alice no idea where they are
• Bob no idea where they are
• Carol no idea where they are
• Dan The Crown seen Day 1, 08:20

What Elsie remembers

Only what they observed, and only what is left of it. The bar is how much of each memory survives.
